Considerations

Use this page to import your Schedule D to TurboTax.

Procedure

TurboTax prompts you to import your Form 1099-B data when you get to the section of the Interview where it should be entered.

1. A list of financial institutions displays in TurboTax. Please select GainsKeeper and proceed to the next page.

2. TurboTax will then ask you to enter information to verify that you are importing the correct data. Please enter your GainsKeeper Login ID and Password.

3. Follow the on-screen instructions in the Interview to retrieve your 1099-B information.

If you have more than 500 sales of stock, bonds, options, or mutual funds, you will have to use the Desktop version of TurboTax as TurboTax Online will not support this.
