Considerations
Use this page to search for transaction history by symbol, CUSIP or underlying Option symbol. If you perform a search using underlying option symbol, options and stocks are both displayed.
You can review your trading activity, corporate action and/or wash sales adjustments for a particular security in your GainsKeeper portfolio.
Procedure
Step 1 - Access the Symbol Details page by clicking the Symbol Details link on the GainsTracker tab. Enter the symbol, CUSIP or underlying option symbol of the security for which to view transaction history. Click Find. Click here to view an example of the Symbol History page.
Step 2 - The history for the selected symbol displays. Click the symbol link to access the Symbol Transaction History page. Click here to view an example of the Review your symbols page.
Step 3 - If you are searching by symbol or CUSIP, the symbol transaction history for the selected symbol or CUSIP displays. The view is broken out into Long Transactions and Short Transactions. To delete a lot, click the radio button next to the transaction you want to delete, and then click the Delete button at the bottom of the page. If you are searching by option underlying symbol, a selection list may display if there are multiple options with the underlying symbol and/or multiple underlying stocks. The selection list is sorted by the following:
Stock
Option
Ascending option expiration date
Click the appropriate symbol to view transaction history for that symbol. Click here to view an example of the Symbol History List page.
Step 4 - The view is broken out into Long Transactions and Short Transactions. To delete a lot, click the radio button next to the transaction to delete and then click the Delete button at the bottom of the page. Click here to view an example of the Symbol Transaction History page.
